BIO

Kyler grew up in Parma, a small farming community in western Idaho. He regularly attended and disliked church while growing up and considered it foolish to believe in a God who he had neither met nor experienced. After hearing the gospel many times, Kyler came to faith in Christ late in high school through the ministry of a local youth group led by his best friend’s father. Soon after, he moved to Pocatello to begin school at ISU. There he was led to Crossroads Christian Fellowship and UBC where he grew in his knowledge of God and the Christian life.

Kyler graduated from ISU with a degree in biochemistry. Two years later he graduated from the University of Idaho with a MS in plant science.

Kyler and his wife, Sharleen, have been married for 6 years and have 3 kids. They were away for over 6 years but returned to Pocatello for him to join the UBC staff as an intern. Kyler enjoys playing tennis and ping pong and reading books at home with his family.
