BIO
Stanton spent most of his childhood in Idaho Falls before moving to Pocatello in 2018. He grew up attending church and professed trust in Christ while sitting in his family’s shoe cubby before school one day at the age of 4. At that time, he knew little of what it meant to trust Christ and ended up recanting that profession several years later as he saw those around him reject the gospel and the reliability of Scripture. It wasn’t until his early teenage years, after much questioning and self-examination, that he truly understood and trusted in Christ as his Lord and Savior. This newfound faith grew as he lived it out in high school and even more so as he attended the Crossroads Ministry at University Bible Church in college.
Stanton worked in various vocations—including business management, several years as a touring musician, and some time as a Realtor—before beginning a pastoral apprenticeship at UBC in April 2026. He is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies and a Master of Divinity through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Stanton and his wife, Abby, married in October 2021 and have since been joined by their first two children. Stanton enjoys skateboarding, singing, playing soccer, and spending evenings at the park with his family.
