Maybe you are suddenly homeschooling several kids while working from home yourself. Maybe you’re one of the many people work out at the INL and now have a couple hour commute with no bus ride. Below you’ll find a handful of resources that may meet this need for you. This annual conference provides Biblical counseling training to men and women. We have had many members from UBC attend over the years that have found it helpful and encouraging. Mst of the audio from past sessions is available on their website. Although they are geared towards preparing you to help others, it can be a great way to get additional instruction on your own parenting, anger, worry, struggles with sexual sin, communication, or relationships.
In about 30 minutes this podcast provides a concise, clear, and interesting coverage of the news from a Biblical perspective. It’s often been described as “like NPR from a Christian worldview.” Here’s how they explain what to expect: “Each day’s half hour starts with a fast-paced news summary, followed by longer stories, interviews, and reports from WORLD journalists, as well as thoughtful commentary and original feature journalism reported from the field.”
