Psalm 127:3 "Behold, children are a gift of the LORD. . ."
At UBC, we love children and take seriously the responsibility to teach and care for them. Each week we offer a number of different opportunities to help your kids learn to love God and love people.
Our UBC Media page has children's material available each Sunday.
Starting on September 27th
Classes for age 2 through High School meet on Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 10:45 AM. These classes provide the opportunity for children to learn about the Bible as well as meet friends their own age. We are using the Answers Bible Curriculum, a 3-year rotating curriculum that covers the Bible in chronological order.
Junior Church is held for children ages 4 through 2nd grade during our 2nd worship service Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM. Children will start the worship service with their parents. Before the final song, the worship leader will excuse the children to go to their classes for Junior Church. Parents are welcome to walk them to class or they can follow the leaders and other kids down the hall. It is designed to meet children where they're at in their emotional and mental development, and guide them into a better understanding of biblical stories and principles.
Awana will be tentatively starting up on September 23, 2020
One of the best children's programs available today, AWANA helps children in Kindergarten through the 6th grade to learn about the Bible and memorize verses in a fun and age-appropriate way. Each club session includes time for games, devotions, and Bible memory work. Children have the opportunity to earn a wide variety of awards. AWANA meets Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM, September through April at our Chubbuck location.
Contact Andrew or Trixie Lovelace (208-430-3355) if you have any questions.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer UBC holds a Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children age 3 - 6th grade. VBS includes songs, crafts, skits, games, and much more, all designed to help your kids learn about God during a fun-filled week. Check the events calendar for dates.
