Adult Ministries
Adult Bible Fellowships (Sunday Mornings)
Our Adult Bible Fellowships meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM. They will help you learn about the Bible and the basics of the Christian life in a setting that encourages questions and discussion. Adult Bible Fellowships will help you to get to know others in the church by providing additional times of fellowship after class. A safe, loving nursery is provided during all classes. We also have a Sunday School program for older children during classes.
NEW CLASSES START May 20th, 2012.
Salvation From Genesis To Jesus
The events recorded in the Bible, especially the Old Testament, can be puzzling. We will be using the DVD series, "The Stranger On The Road To Emmaus" to discover how biblical events fit together to reveal God's plan of salvation to the world. This class will also be helpful in learning how to explain to others the purpose of the events recorded in the Bible. If you have not been attending this ongoing study, you are still welcome and should find it helpful.
- Taught by Jamie Mayer in the Adult Meeting Room
Proverbs: Becoming Skillful At Life
Proverbs 19:8 He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good.
Wisdom has been defined as "being skillful and successful in one's relationships and responsibilities . . . observing and following the Creator's principles of order in the moral universe." The book of Proverbs is designed to describe and instill wisdom rooted in the fear of the Lord. This class will apply the wisdom of Proverbs to many different areas of life, including conflict, purity, speech, money, and work.
